Our story

You could say our passion for herbs started in the cradle…

…and it very nearly did. Growing up, I was constantly in awe of the nature around me and the potential for healing right at our fingertips. Fast forward thirty years, and I had the chance to do something with that interest.

The roots of Wild Hare Apothecary run deep. We opened our first business, Archer Soapworks & Apothecary in 2016. By 2019, we had grown so much and so quickly, we were faced with a choice- be Jack of all trades and master of none, or start narrowing in on our real focus. The decision was pretty clear- it was time to split the business and finish my studies! We sold the bath & body portion (along with the Archer brand), rebranded the apothecary side as Arcane Moon Apothecaria, and began pouring our time and energy into our real passion- herbalism, and we haven’t looked back.  The resulting growth gave us the opportunity to once more refine and hone our focus, which resulted in the Wild Hare Apothecary.
